Life is like a river, constantly flowing and shifting, carrying us forward whether we choose to resist or embrace the current.
We think we know where we are trying to go, but things change as the river goes around a bend or down a rapids. Life gets in the way. It is these unexpected twists and turns that shape our character and enrich our experiences. Gain the knowledge and skills to use these twists and turns to make yourself stronger and wiser, a more capable and confident individual ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
Aiming to create a holistic and immersive learning experience, we aim to help you become a proficient writer and a critical thinker who can articulate your experiences and perspectives with clarity and depth.
This program is designed upon a curriculum focused on clarity, critical thinking, creativity, and self-awareness. Experiential learning opportunities, problem solving, and project building are important parts of the program.

Teaching and tutoring includes timely online feedback for every writing assignment submitted. Each week 3-4 writing prompts are typically given to students to work on at home, and they are expected to complete at least some of these assignments and share them online. Each assignment that is submitted online by the assigned time will be given constructive feedback before the next class. Feedback is based on the writing rubrics and critical thinking scaffold provided to the students. This helps ensure that students bring at least a second draft to the class for personal review, not a first draft.
